My first encounter with a leather armchair was when I was invited to a friend’s house for a late night game. I remember I refused to go in the beginning as I was so tired from a hard day at work. I just wanted to go home and relax quietly. Somehow I’m glad I went to his house. He just bought a new red leather armchair and I sat on that chair. Probably I was tired or probably it was the color red that drew my attention to the chair. It was so comfortable and I ended up sleeping on his armchair and I missed the game. I’m not complaining though as the next day I went and got myself a leather armchair for my home too.

If you are still on the fence about getting a leather armchair, then know that it will the best thing that you’ll ever purchase in your life. I know it had that effect on me. I never miss one day without sitting on that armchair. I’m thinking of getting more for every other room in my house.

I’ve come up with a list of 4 reasons why you should get one for your home too.

1) The material leather itself is very durable. It can stand wear and tear for so long and you don’t need to be worrying about tearing it as it is tough. No other upholstery holds up better than leather.

2) Leather will look better as it ages. The longer you have it, the better it looks. Plus, the color will not fade. This is very important as you don’t want to replace it once a year, do you?

3) If you spill something on leather, it’s as easy as just wiping it clean. Leather doesn’t soak in water. So, you won’t have to worry about leaving a stain on your leather armchair compared to other upholsteries. So, if you have small children running around in your house, leather is perfect.

4) Leather armchair has the ability to blend in with your other type of décor and also other furniture you have in your home. In fact your leather armchair will complement the rest of the furnishings, so it being out of place is nothing to worry about.

I love my leather armchair and I found that it was the best thing in my house. If you’re going to get one too, you will not regret it as you’ll be enjoying it for as long as you live.
