If you are thinking about getting a fridge to put in your bar, it helps to think about which features are important to you and choose a unit that has what you are looking for.  There are all kinds of mini bar fridges that are available, and they vary depending on size, quality, and features.  Refrigerators that are meant for use in a bar can range from the ultra tiny that are only big enough to hold a six pack of cans to those that are large enough to hold whatever you need.
If you are getting a refrigerator for a home bar, you will most likely be fine with a small fridge.  The majority of people who get home bar fridges don’t actually use them all that often.  A small unit that can keep your drinks and snacks chilled is usually good enough for most people.  If you are going to keep your refrigerator in open view, you will probably want to choose one that has some style.  Mini refrigerators pretty much come in only 3 colors, which are white, black, and stainless steel.  The color that you choose will depend on the style of your bar.  Because white is so common, many people choose black or stainless steel because they look different.
One of the most important features that you must consider when it comes to purchasing a small fridge is the freezer.  If you only want to keep canned or bottled drinks chilled, you can buy one that doesn’t have any freezer at all.  Most people want to have ice on hand for their bar though, which means that you probably want a freezer that works.  You can get one that has a separate freezer compartment, or one that combines the two together.  Unlike many cheap units, the better quality refrigerators have freezers with thermostats that keep them from icing up so much.
