The selections for the television wall mounts do come in several choices. Some brace against a wall and they do not move. There are others which actually allow you to pull your set away from the wall on an extended arm. I like this idea if I want to view my television from a different angle. I shall have to keep this one in mind.

I have also found some pedestal type television mounts. I really do like these. I still have the option of placing the TV against the wall and also to move it to other areas of my house. I also do not have to worry about bracketing it against a wall. This appeals to my personality. It is more of a television stand or corner stand than a mount. Mounts of televisions tend to frighten me as you can plainly see.

I do have to mention that even though I am not crazy about TV wall mounts, some people love them. I usually like a TV stand instead but in terms of space saving perhaps the plasma TV mount is a better bet. A few of my co-workers enjoy the option of entertaining guests. They have very large, flat-screen televisions and they have them positioned against the wall. Yes, it looks fantastic in their homes but, that its what they want. I just do not feel good about the purchase I made and the obligation I feel to keep it.

No matter how you want to look at it, I believe plasma TV wall mounts are wonderful for certain circumstances. It is a way to get the television off the floor. It is great for keeping it safe from spills, especially if you have small children or animals running around. Not to mention that some guests are hard on TV furniture. However you feel about this situation, if you are like me, hire someone with experience to do the mounting.
